Maj. Gen. Carl B. Jensen, commanding general of Marine Corps Installations – East, addresses a number of concerns that business leaders, service members and citizens of the city of Jacksonville and Onslow County had during the first of a three part forum series on ‘Growth Issues,’ at the Jacksonville City Hall council Chambers, March 23. Other county officials, such as Ken Brandon, with the Jacksonville Board of Realtors, and Glenn Hargett, the community affairs director, presented information on the status of real estate and population in the area. - Maj. Jensen, commanding general of Marine Corps Installations – East, present Annette Mageo (left), and Gloria Petteway, cooks with French Creek Mess Hall 420, with their first place awards after this year’s first Culinary Team of the Quarter Competition at Mess Hall 211, March 22.
