Marines with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment get ready to evacuate a recovered pilot to an MV-22B Osprey during a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel exercise at Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 29, 2017. The Marines conducted the TRAP as part of their Certification Exercise in preparation for an upcoming deployment as the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa. Due to the time-sensitive nature of a TRAP mission, the Marines constantly train to maintain and improve their proficiency in recovering personnel and destroying or retrieving classified equipment.
